  1. TFTPd is a Macintosh TFTP (Trivial File Transport Protocol) server
  2. for Macs with MacTCP.  It requires System 7, and has minimal features
  3. (no uploading, no ascii translation, fairly average performance,  etc).  
  4. It runs as a background only application.

  6. Note: TFTP is a completely seperate protocol from FTP.  This is NOT
  7. a Trivial FTP server, it is a TFTP server.  TFTP is generally used for
  8. booting routers and the like, not as a file transfer system.

  10. TFTPd is $10 shareware.
